A long-vacant retail building in Eureka's Henderson Center neighborhood found new life as a Redwood Capital Bank branch. The existing 1980s building was transformed by an added second-floor skylight that gives the interior an atrium quality- light filtering down through the full height of the space.

Custom detailing includes the exterior awning, the bank teller desk, and the columns that define the public space. A large window added at the end of the second floor during construction frames a redwood tree outside- a quiet nod to the bank's name and to the place itself.
